Waterspirit, a local spiritual ecology nonprofit dedicated to the protection and reverence of sacred water and Earth, celebrates the historic announcement by President Biden to permanently ban offshore drilling along U.S. coastlines, including the East Coast, West Coast, and eastern Gulf of Mexico. This groundbreaking decision will protect these vibrant ecosystems from the devastation of fossil fuel exploration forever, ensuring a cleaner, healthier future for both coastal communities and marine life.
Help Protect Sacred Water & Demand Accountability
Across the region, drought looms while polluters continue to wreak havoc on our communities, leaving behind toxic messes that harm our health and our planet. It is our responsibility to take collective action now and demand the protection of sacred water for future generations.
New York made a monumental step by passing the Green Amendment and, last week, the Climate Superfund Act, ensuring that polluters are held accountable and their messes are cleaned up. Now, New Jersey must follow suit.
